I believe they rented this house in West End (Western section of Birmingham). It is the first house I remember going to visit Mammaw and Pappaw. One of my memories is being sound asleep and Mammaw coming into the bedroom, waking me up, and she and I sitting on the floor in front of an open window. She introduced me to the various constellations and pointed out the different planets. She was fascinated with anything to do with astromony, and it just seems natural that one of her children worked for NASA.

This is Nancy writing. I remember that the ball park where the Barons played was close to the house in West End. I do not know if the house is still there or not.
